Day 2 of the 4 days of Jonathan’s birthday celebration began on Saturday with
the Homecoming Parade. After staying up late watching movies Friday night,
we had to hustle to get to the parade on time! :) We ended up standing near
Daddy and some of the Athletic Hall of Fame inductees - they were having a
good chuckle in their “KSTC” sweatshirts!
After the parade Jennifer and I walked on campus to see the new signpost at Magruder Hall. We ran into Daddy on the way and took some pictures with him!
And here is a picture of my beautiful Mama ready to go to the
Homecoming Banquet with Daddy.

We joined Julie for yummy vegetable soup at her house and then we were off
to the Homecoming football game. It was a beautiful day, but the wind was
strong out of the north and we only made it through half-time. We felt so
sorry for the Bulldogs when we left because they had just taken a real hit
scorewise. To our delight we learned that they eventually pulled it out and
won the game - in overtime, no less!
