Project 365/9

Today was a big baking day for Synergy Bakery.  I was doing just fine until the last batch of the day.... I forgot to put yeast in.  Oops! I sort of caught it....  I was getting ready to knead when I realized I couldn’t remember putting any yeast in.  But, I thought, surely I had! Hadn’t I?  Well, I ended up putting about 1/2 of what is called for in just in case... and sure enough - it didn’t rise correctly.  So, those 5 loaves sat on the stove rising for over 2 hours! :)  I did finally bake them and they will be fine for our family, but I sure can’t sell them.  :)

Here is what my day mostly consisted of.....

I did make Cream of Broccoli soup today - AND I remembered to take a picture!!!  I will post the picture and recipe on the Recipe page.  Now, it looks kind of nasty - but trust me - this is one yummy soup!  Even Jonathan likes this one!  It is especially good served with hot, fresh bread.

Jackson is still busy making hats for everyone.  He made 2 today - one for Hannah and one for Grandpa Jack.

We are definitely back to winter again.  Freezing cold today and snow expected tomorrow. Oh well - the spring-like days were nice while they lasted.
