Sleigh Ride

Santa (aka Grandpa Jack) dropped by Willis Creek Ranch Saturday morning and gave rides on the sleigh.  We had 15 of us out here on the hill - including Stephen, Rachel’s fiancé   It was wonderful to be able to share some of the winter wonderland with the Oklahoma crew. Usually, they miss out on the sleigh riding and sledding when they visit.  This year we had plenty of snow for all the fun.  In fact, it is snowing again today!!!  :)  After the sleigh ride, Grandpa hooked the sleds up to the truck and everyone went sledding.  After hours of snowy fun we gathered at Mom and Dad’s for lunch - then an afternoon of visiting - then dinner at King’s Buffet.  Full day!  :)

Hi Marcia -
Yes, that is our family sleigh. We also have a wagon that the horse team pulls in "non-snowy" weather. :) The horses are called Haflingers and they are a small draft horse. We enjoy them (and the sleigh) very much!
