to this! What is this?? This is the beginning of literally
THOUSANDS of geese flying overhead and then landing in a field
across the road.
We are used to geese being around - we had several on our pond
early this morning. But what we saw this afternoon was amazing.
The way the weather was changing so fast, it made me wonder if
“they” knew something “we” didn’t. They were certainly organized
in their landing “en masse”. Here are a couple more pictures if you
happen to be interested... although pictures can’t begin to show how
fantastic it was. We finally figured out they were snow geese.
Yes, that is ALL geese....

What a great post! Thanks for letting me know :) I can't watch the video on this computer so I'll have to catch that next time I'm in Kirksville. Is it possible that these birds look even more terrifying in the picture then they were in person??? And who are those two intelligent-looking people gazing up into the sky thoughtfully? Those pictures crack me up :) AMAZING Sunday - thanks so much!! Love you all and your girl scout cookies! And remind me to tell you how CROWDED that Georgian room in the SUB was!!

Now that bottom pic looks like seagulls, because they are white! I don't think we've seen a lot of Canadian geese here, but they were VERY common in Colorado during the winter!
These are great pictures, eerie with ALL the birds!
