Jonathan was not feeling well Sunday morning but by the afternoon he was doing much better, much to my relief. We have so much flu going around up here and I was just sure she had it Sunday morning. However, after a family lunch with Mom & Dad and Julie & Anna, we all went to take a look at Grandpa's new office. Jackson and Jonathan especially enjoyed checking out his chair. :)
Then Jackson spent the night with buddy Adrian leaving Marvin,
Jonathan and I with a quiet evening at home. This afternoon
Jonathan wanted to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks. He has been
wanting to see that ever since it came out (at Christmas) and it had
just never worked out for us. Unbelievably, it was still playing at our
theater (but only through this Thursday) so we decided to go. He
loved it and I actually enjoyed it fairly well myself.
I am still looking at different vacation destinations (and could still use any and all advice/suggestions) for this summer. I have ordered tourism packets from about every state in the union. As they arrive each day in the mail, Marvin just smiles and shakes his head. He is so good to me - he understands that the “hunt” is such a large part of the fun for me. :) So now I get to read through them all and dream of warmer climates. Of course, come August, I am sure I’ll be dreaming of sleigh riding while sweltering in 100 degree heat!
And here is a mystery for you to help us solve... what do YOU think was our roof???

I think Santa was on your roof, thinking it was Christmas!! He is smaller because it's not christmas and so he lost his footing and slipped off, then the reindeer had to call the elf-ulance but now Santa's doing fine and is busy getting ready for the real Christmas!!! (of course with help from his wonderful elves up in Missouri)
