Sunset - 365/57

I was playing around with my camera one night (about a week and a half ago) trying to figure out how to take good photos of sunsets.  I see so many absolutely stunning photos on others Project 365 blogs and I just can’t seem to figure it out.  These are not in the same league as those, but I think it does show the progression of my efforts.  And it WAS a beautiful sunset that night. :)

How do you all manage to take your stunning sunset shots?  I would love to hear some tips.  My camera (Canon Powershot A570IS) is not the fanciest, but I am trying to learn to use it to its fullest.

These are gorgeous shots! I bought a book that teaches specifically on my
camera. I'm still learning! Dh is encouraging me to take a photography course at the nearby community college. I'm excited about that idea!

These are beautiful! I just love sky photos. I think you're doing great. I've just been messing around with my camera--finding out lots of things that don't work and a few that do. :)

Very pretty photos, Laura. I love taking pics of sunsets, I could take them all the time, but the "best" shot opportunities seem to always been when I'm driving home, on the top of a specific hill with no where to stop...and I never get it.
