Fourth of July

Trying to catch up on blog posts for the ENTIRE month of July!!! Ugh. Here goes....

We spent the 4th of July enjoying our last day with Hannah here in town. During the morning hours everyone went horseback riding. It was a beautiful day for it.... not too hot, if you can believe it. Hannah, Grandpa, Marvin, Jackson and Jonathan all headed for the barn to get the horses ready.

After a full day of riding we gathered at Mom and Dadʼs for Julieʼs birthday dinner of grilled hamburgers, cheesy potatoes, prairie schooner baked beans and oriental coleslaw. Yum! The guys worked hard on the burgers....

After dinner (and Julieʼs birthday cake!) we headed up to our house to set off fireworks and have a birds eye view of the city fireworks show from our front porch. :)

Then it was off to bed for all of us since Hannah, Mom and I were leaving early the next morning. But, that is for the next post. :)
