Crazy Summer

Whew!  This has been one crazy summer!  I barely kept up with the blog in July and now here I go again in August.

I distinctly remember back in May having lots of plans for all the projects that I was going to get done over the summer.  Ahhh - those fleeting dreams of mine!  Now we are back to school time and I got zero, count 'em, zero of those projects even begun much less completed!  Oh well... there is always next year??

So what have we done this summer?  As you can see from the July posts we had some wonderful times with family, and Mom and I took an unforgettable trip to Wyoming together.  Add in lots of tennis lessons, Tae Kwon Do, out of town guests, a couple of potlucks in my back yard, my niece's wedding in Oklahoma and the annual trip to the Missouri State Fair and I guess that explains why I have a hard time keeping up here.  :)

I am actually looking forward to school starting on Monday and getting back into a routine with our schedule, our mealtimes and menus, and my exercise.  Boy, have I let that last one go this summer... ugh. I have spent this week cleaning out the schoolroom and trying to get more organized.  Should be ready by Monday!  :)

How did your first week of school go? I'm contemplating a rolling start and doing that this week...then hitting it full fledged the first full week after Labor Day - say 8 September......
The summer sped by. I'm with you. Though YOU did a LOT this summer....I still can't figure outw hat I did. LOL
