Yes, there is MORE from the fair! We do stay for almost two weeks, you know. :) After all the fun with horses, etc. at the Mathewson Center and then enjoying special times with family and friends, we have just plain ole good fair times. There was a lot of free entertainment at the fair including a circus, several wildlife presentations, the Touchstone Energy Stage with a variety of great music shows, all the livestock barns, the fine arts and horticulture buildings, the Home Ec and Agriculture buildings and so much more. And I haven't even mentioned the midway! :)

And this was truly odd... as we were walking through one of the horse barns, this horse in particular caught our eye. We stopped to watch as it carefully picked up a stick off of the ground of its stall. It chewed around on it a bit then...
passed it through the stall bars to the neighboring horse, who chewed around on it a bit and then...
passed it through the stall bars to ITS neighboring horse! I don't know if you can see the stick in these photos, but it was the strangest thing...
