Mexico Lapbook

I mentioned in another post that we will be revisiting Exploring Countries and Cultures fromMy Father’s World beginning in January.  When Jackson and I did ECC a few years ago, he made 3 lapbooks to go along with Mexico, Canada and Brazil.  We plan to do more lapbooks this time around - and, of course, Jonathan will be joining in with us.  But, I thought I would go ahead and post pictures of the old lapbooks we made.  The first one was Mexico.  This was the very first lapbook Jackson had ever done - or that I had ever attempted to help with.  It was a learning process for both of us.  :)  But Jackson did a great job.

Mexico lapbook open - showing a mini book on their festival “Day of the Dead”, a mini book retelling a Mexican fairy tale, maps and a lift the flap book of numbers in Spanish.

Here we have flags and currency (he LOVED flags and currency!) along with a book about the Mayans and a book of colors in Spanish.
