Rambling

This is actually sort of a “test” post.  I have been having a lot of trouble with my server the last week and have been basically unable to post anything to the blogs.  I am hoping it is taken care of now.  Ugh.
This has been a busy week, to boot.  Monday night I taught my last class at the Vo Tech.  It was the “Baking with Whole Grains” class.  There were 10 students and we completed the whole process of baking - from grinding the grain, to mixing the dough, to rising, baking and eating!  We made Honey Whole Wheat bread and Cinnamon Rolls.  It went well.

Wednesday was baking day for Synergy Bakery and I had a lot of orders.  I managed to get them all done, literally pulling some hot loaves out of the oven for one customer as she was walking in to pick up her order!

The picture above is my Dad with his brothers and sisters - along with his Mom and Dad.  This was taken sometime in the early 1950’s, I believe.  I have been so lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing family legacy.  The “5 siblings” are super close and have passed along a strong sense of family to all of us in the next generations.  What a blessing.  Yesterday was Aunt Marjorie’s birthday - so Happy Birthday to you, Aunt Marjorie!!!
