I have a feeling that many of us, as homeschooling Mom’s, find it difficult to find a Bible study group that fits our schedules and our “demographic”. Often we just give up and determine to go it alone. But, I know from wonderful past experiences that a group Bible study is far more beneficial. I appreciate the accountability, the encouragement and support, the special bonds that are formed by members of the group. There just is nothing else like it.
To that end, I am just curious to see who else out there might be interested in forming an online Bible study group? Perhaps “meeting” online each week or every other week. Obviously, many details would need to be worked out (such as what to study, when and where to “meet”, etc.) but I would love to gauge interest.
If this is something you would be interested in participating in, would you please leave a comment and also any thoughts and suggestions you might have? Thanks!

Laura, I am all for it. I am currently trying to do a Beth Moore at home by myself and really need accountability to get it done. I would be open to changing studies. We could do a Kay Arthur, Beth Moore(kind of hard w/o the videos but doable). There are so many out there. I will do some research and see what I can find and let you know!

Yes, I might be interested, depending on a number of things! The meeting at one time is intriguing--I've done online Bible study before, in the format of a regular yahoo email loop. It was more difficult to be spontaneous, to really share. A dedicated time would resolve that...

Laura,
For some reason, I've been having trouble when trying to comment on your blog.
Yes, I think I might be interested in a Bible Study. My daughter Rachael & I are getting ready to begin this one... http://www.thekingsdaughtermag.com/biblestudy.html.
Let me know what you come up with.
Thanks! Amy

I sort of have in my mind to set up a new yahoo egroup for this but have a set time to "meet" online for our Bible study. That way we could email each other anytime if we had thoughts or questions, but could have a set time to gather for the actual study. Does that make sense?
Amy -
I will go take a look at the study you mention. I am excited about this. :)
