Marvin, Daddy, Uncle Charles and Uncle Mitch spent their annual weekend together for the Old Threshers festival. Unfortunately, they were pretty well rained out of the whole thing. They didn’t get to ride at all and even the Old Threshers festival was cancelled. But, as my Uncle Charles said, at least they were all together. :)
They spent the weekend hanging out in Uncle Mitch’s RV eating and visiting, with a side trip here and there to the mennonite market, the farm supply store and a restaurant. Pretty tough weekend, huh? :) All in all they still had a wonderful time together.
As they were driving home they saw their first patch of blue sky. You can see a bit peeking through in the photo above - just as they arrived home. That evening we had the most beautiful sunset and part of a rainbow.... you can see that in the next post.

Well, that was too bad, but you can't count on the weather. It sounds like they had a good time anyway. That is the spirit...make the most of your situation.
