We had 2 great events to celebrate as a family yesterday.... Mom and Dad’s
53rd anniversary (that was Saturday) and Daddy’s 72nd birthday (Tuesday). We split the difference and had our big family dinner Sunday evening. Jennifer was even able to drive up for a few hours to join us - how very nice!
We are making preparations to head to the fair for 2 weeks - and looking forward to that. We will come back for James’ Marine send off party next weekend. Time is ticking down toward his entry date... hard to believe. I’m grateful for all the moments we get to spend with him before he goes.
