We had our monthly Mom’s Night Out tonight. It is always a lot of fun and filled with lots and
lots of laughter - always a good thing! :) We sure did miss Shanny, though. Missy brought a card
for all of us to sign and send to Shanny, and Alicia called her on the cell phone. Shanny didn’t
answer, but we all left a loud, loving message for her to receive when she checks her voice mail.
As usual, we brought books of interest to pass around and share. We are a great resource for each other - our own “lending library”. I also brought my niece’s poem/book The House on the Corner to “show off”. Everyone was very touched by her beautiful poem and the photos in the book. (Of course they were states this proud aunt, rather humbly, I might add!!!) :)
The only problem we have with our Mom’s Night Out is that we always receive the check waaaaayyyy before we are ready to leave! Missy and I wondered tonight if we need to choose the Subway at the 24 hour Walmart for our get-togethers. They surely wouldn’t care if we hung out for 3 hours sipping our tea and laughing hysterically, would they? And just think, afterward we could get our shopping done.... multi-tasking!

Below we have Alicia and Gita, then Missy and Chris trying their best to hide from the camera (shocking!!!) and then finally, Missy and Chris cooperating with me. :) Sadly, I don’t have a picture of me from tonight. Truly, I didn’t intend for that to happen, but I just didn’t think about it. Oh well..... :) :) :)

Ah yes, Missy.... (Sally).... but I am afraid our parking picture was not a good idea after all!!! Not our best photo - or at least not mine! And who knew that sitting in the Suburban chatting would provide such great entertainment in the way of watching befuddled drivers!! :) By the way, I really like that Biology book you loaned me. Thanks!
