Owl Pellets... and more

Ah yes - Owl Pellets. :) The boys had a blast dissecting owl pellets today. It was fun to be on the “perimeter” and listen to them talk while they worked. They were both very into finding the bones and figuring out what little animal they must come from. They were very careful and focused on their work. Tomorrow we will do a bit more research on owls and make a notebook page.

We also began A Child’s Geography today. The boys seemed to like it pretty well and we had a good discussion on the material in the chapter. We are continuing with Greenleaf Guide to OldTestament History and Story of the World, as well. Tomorrow we will start on Exploring Creationthrough Astronomy.

Jackson had Tae Kwon Do tonight. They are really working hard to prepare for their next testing. He will be testing for his blue stripe (on his green belt) soon.

Jonathan picked a ton of turnips from our garden today and carted them down to Grandma and Grandpa (since we don’t like turnips). :(

We fixed BLT’s for dinner tonight (so yummy with our fresh tomatoes and the Perry’s farm raised smoked bacon) and I also made a pot of ham and beans for tomorrow.
Well, this has to be one of the most random posts ever! And it is now done! :)
