There are no words...

There simply are no words adequate to express the deep love and respect that our entire family has for Rev. Jim and Linda.  These two special people have made such a difference in our lives through the gift of their friendship.  Our church has been blessed over and over again through Jim's preaching and their ministry.  At the end of this month, after 11 years of service with our congregation, Jim and Linda are headed into a much deserved retirement.

Truly, I have to admit that our hearts hurt at the thought of not seeing them every week... at the thought of not being blessed by Jim's sermons each Sunday.  But, we rejoice with them in anticipation of this new journey they are taking together... to truly have time to enjoy one another.

We are confident that Jim will kindly offer to stop at Botanical gardens and historic home tours en route to Nascar events and RV rallies.  :)  And we hope that the road is still short between their new home and ours.  We cannot imagine all the special events in our lives occurring without Jim and Linda's presence.

Oh, what a bittersweet time, happy for them, yet knowing they will leave a place to be filled in your hearts... I'm glad they will be staying close by so your friendship can easily continue.
