We had a lovely surprise the other night.... Uncle Charles called to say that he had hopped in the truck with Michael (his grandson) when he learned Michael was delivering a load to our town. How wonderful!! Charles and Michael were able to join us for dinner and then spent the night. There was quite a bit of excitement around here when we saw them driving up to our house in the semi!! Unfortunately, it was dark when they arrived so we didn’t get the full effect until the next morning. But, Michael did take Jackson out to sit in the truck that night... pretty cool!
The next day I had to chuckle when our neighbor called and said, “was that a semi that went down our driveway this morning?” :) Luckily, we have WONDERFUL neighbors who are never surprised by the goings on up here. :)
