Jonathan made a lovely card for Marvin and Jackson made a fantastic heart tugging video. You can see the video here. He did such a great job on this and did it completely by himself! From taking photos (sometimes of photos/documents hanging on our walls, no less) to putting it all together on the computer. I am thinking there is definite school credit here! :)

After dinner we stopped by at Mom and Dad's to visit a bit longer and watch Jackson's DVD for his Dad. Before we left Kerry began loading up the Brat to head home in the morning. We all got a chuckle at the picture of my brother and his high tech/new fangled ways... here he is with the 1986 era Brat holding a 1984 era Macintosh computer! He is pretty uptown and ahead of his time... for the early 80's! :) The computer is actually the most recent donation to the 'antique' computer collection at OU. The truly amazing thing is that the previous owner was actually STILL USING this computer AND the printer up until about a month ago!! I find that mind boggling! For one thing, can you imagine that they both still worked? And for another, can you imagine waking up one day to find out that while you were way AHEAD of your time in 1984 for purchasing one of the first in home personal computers, you are now way BEHIND the times considering the advancements in computers over the last 2 ½ decades?? She apparently now has a brand new Mac laptop and digital computer... what a change! I love it.
Anyway, here is Kerry with his 2 new treasures for the computer collection at the library... the actual 1984 Macintosh (remember their famous commercial that aired only 1 time in 1984?) and the printer that went with it... complete with their original boxes(!). Actually, these items are worth quite a bit more cash now than the Brat! :) ha!
