Field trip to the Killen farm

We had a fantastic day at the Killen family farm.  They invited us down to spend time with their new baby goats and to just enjoy the day exploring their farm.  All of us had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to do it again!

Chris and I (and our kids) drove down Wednesday morning so we could all have lunch together.  Then we spent time admiring and playing with all the cute little baby goats.  The kids then went to “The Fort” for even more fun.  The Fort is a creekbed with so much to explore - and lots of mud and water to get dirty in.   :)   Missy drove me and Chris around her farm so we could see the various fields and cattle.  What a great place they have there.

One telling moment.... I said to Anna, “I really like your place here”.  She responded by saying, “Yes, it is an AWESOME farm!  And my Daddy has done so much to make it fun for us.”  Quite a wonderful endorsement, wouldn’t you say?  What a happy place where this dear family makes their home.

We took a TON of photos.... how could we not?  Cute kids (of both the human and the 4 legged variety).
