Jordan

We got to spend some time with Jordan (the lovely daughter of my cousin, Julie) on Sunday.  How nice.  Originally, it was just going to be me, Jordan and Jennifer getting together - but it turned out that we had a much larger group. Julie was just getting back from her conference and so James and Anna picked her up at the airport and then were able to join us for dinner.  And I ended up bringing Marvin and the boys with me - so we had an extra good time together.

We met for dinner at Hu Hot... one of my favorite places, although it was the first time for Julie, James and Anna to go there.  As always, the food was yummy and we enjoyed good conversation and laughter.  After dinner we walked over to Andy’s Custard for dessert.  (Yes, Donna, Missy and Chris... this DOES seem rather familiar, doesn't it?  :D  

We are so glad that Jordan is now living in the same town as Jennifer and hope that we can all get together more often.

*Donna, Missy and Chris..... you will laugh at this!  The waiter who took this next photo is the same waiter who took our photos 3 weeks ago!  I cracked up when he walked past our table and did a double take then said “hi!”.  Everyone wondered how he would remember me (and he wasn’t even our waiter this time...)  I said it wasn’t really a mystery to me that he remembered!!!  After all, the last time he saw me I was with Chris!!!!!  :) :) :)

What a wonderful family reunion! So glad that I could be part of forming a tradition (Hu Hot followed by custard)! You should definitely put that waiter on your Christmas card/letter list!! :)
